IBSSA Accredited Institution
PSA Academy is recognized by the International Bodyguard and Security Services Association as an accredited institution for security and anti-terrorism science, operating as an official training center of IBSSA worldwide. Our training is realistic, professional and high quality, exceeding the requirement system of the SIA (Security Industry Authority), and is accredited by several awarding bodies recognized worldwide.

Experienced Instructors
All PSA Academy trainers are experienced ex-soldiers, police officers, and law enforcement agents with real-world operational experience. Our instructors bring decades of combined expertise in military operations, intelligence, close protection, and tactical training — ensuring every graduate is prepared for the demands of professional security work.
Training Environment
Tactical House & Extreme Stress Program
During our trainings we use a specially designed building, divided by rooms and corridors, the ‘Tactical House’. The design of the rooms is created based on the requirements of the contractor and the type of training, so each group may focus on their specific life situations applied in a training exercise. For the training we use a specially designed simulation weapon — it looks like, feels like, and works like the real one, the only difference is the bullets, made of plastic and containing paint. With the combination of environment, program and special weapons used, we create an “extreme stress level” situation where we can see each individual's personal reaction to certain situations.
The other part of the program is the ‘Extreme Stress Program’, based on a hard psychological principle and designed for elite forces, FBI agents, etc. All exercises are recorded by cameras and after each exercise the tapes are analysed, reviewed and corrections suggested — knowledge and experience gathered this way is deeper, lasts longer and is far more functional in real-life situations than any other method. Exercises are also monitored by a pedometer (pulse-counting watch), which checks and records each individual's heart rate, making it possible to follow their stress level and changes in movement and coordination.
Qualification
PSA's Bodyguard Training Program has recognition and qualification from multiple international educational organisations and institutions. Our training is realistic, professional and high quality, exceeding the requirement system of the SIA (Security Industry Authority), and is accredited by several awarding bodies recognized worldwide. Graduates who successfully meet all course requirements are eligible for the bodyguard badge and ID-card of PSA International, recognized in both the private and public sector.

Priority is given to candidates with relevant previous experience — for example in martial arts or weapon treatment.

TCCS Training Method
Training Programs
Intensive residential training systems containing live firearms practice and real-world scenarios under extreme stress. Seminars range from 10 days to 3 months.
Celebrity / VIP Bodyguard
All modules of PSA's Bodyguard training program are intensive residential educational systems, run over 2-3 week periods, containing live firearms practice and situations taking place under extreme stress. Every module features and emphasizes the same 10 fields of education, appropriate to the given module and level — our full Training Syllabus.
Diplomatic Bodyguard
Complex protection and security of delegations, diplomats, politicians and their families. Built in 3 levels — Basic, Advanced, and Team Leader/Commander — each comprising 350-400 hours.
Child Bodyguard
Specialist protection training for the safeguarding of children of high-net-worth, diplomatic, and public-profile families — combining close protection discipline with child welfare awareness.
Military Close Protection
Advanced module using sub-machine guns, assault rifles, and rifles. Designed for military personnel and high-threat environment operatives.
Security Driving
Designed for individuals who are vulnerable and under threat of a terrorist or organized criminal attack while in transit, emphasizing a proactive approach to protection. Trainees improve car control skills at any experience level through realistic exercises, learning to use the vehicle as a means of escape or as a tool for survival — and, most importantly, learning their own limits.
Shooting Training Program
PSA Academy's firearms training program offers instruction to elite military, security personnel and law enforcement officers as well as civilian citizens. We teach Marksmanship — how to hit what you aim at — and go beyond this to include the principles of gun-handling, across multiple levels of instruction. Training is conducted mainly in the ex-Eastern Bloc countries, the US, Israel and South Africa, due to the difficulties of British Law. All shooting ranges used carry valid licenses and insurance.
Tactical Close Combat & Self Defence System
Not a martial art or self-defence style but a realistic, highly effective complex defence and tactical system, used to educate special units, forces and secret service members of many countries because of its effectiveness. In every module of the PSA Bodyguard Training Programme we use training weapons and knives for the realistic experience of close combat, plus RED MAN® special-purpose protective gear — the same equipment used by elite police, law enforcement units and special agents worldwide — so participants can land punches and kicks and carry out learnt techniques with full throttle.
Anti-Terrorism & Threat Response
Our Bomb Threat Awareness & Search Procedures course gives participants a clear understanding of how to reduce the threat of bombs and other devices, so that in the event of a threat or after an attack, personnel know and are able to apply the primary measures of crisis situations.
Surveillance / Counter-Surveillance
An excellent complement to the Close Protection course for operatives who need to be multi-skilled in both areas. By obtaining the additional Level 3 Surveillance qualification, we believe this would greatly increase your chances of employment within the security sector.
Forensic Psychology & Investigation
Expert training in forensic psychology applied to crime investigation, suspect profiling, interrogation techniques, and evidence analysis.
Door Supervisor
Professional training for door supervision and access control at licensed premises. Covers conflict avoidance, legal powers, search procedures, and emergency protocols.
Security Guard Training
Comprehensive security officer training covering the core learning outcomes for the private security industry, alongside a dedicated Security Guarding Specialist Module and Conflict Management Module — assessed across three formal units.
CCTV Operator
Operational training for CCTV surveillance systems including camera operation, monitoring techniques, evidence handling, and data protection compliance.
Maritime Security (MSO)
Maritime security operations training for vessel protection, port security, anti-piracy measures, and international maritime security regulations.
Conflict Management
De-escalation techniques, negotiation skills, and conflict resolution strategies for security professionals. Covers verbal and non-verbal communication under pressure.
Security Management
Strategic security management covering risk assessment, security planning, team leadership, budgeting, and operations management for senior security professionals.
Spectator Safety
Training for safety officers at events, stadiums, and public venues. Covers crowd management, evacuation procedures, risk assessment, and spectator welfare.
Medic Training
PSA's Medic Training Program offers training and specialized further training across six fields of study, from initial first response through to Tactical Combat Casualty Care.
